STEVIE "J" & BENZINO HEADLINE

STEVIE “J” & BENZINO
HEADLINE

Can’t we all just get along?” This is your man Maestro giving it to you like a hooker on Auburn Avenue with no cut. Love & Hip Hop has managed to keep us glued to the screen to see what drama can possibly ensue the all out brawl that took place during the filming  at the reunion. I for one, can only imagine what the reality show has in store for us the next season. I mean what’s left? We’ve witnessed women swinging from shower rods, self proclaimed god’s, men who can’t handle their own affairs, old fashion jealously, ugly stares, extra marital affairs, over zealous mother in laws, two-bit brawls,  under achieving musicians who by the way are their own biggest fans, a bitter man, fast cars and  want ta be stars. Hew! Give me a second to catch my breath…Ok!  There were mispronounced words, rap songs unheard, infidelity, a possible felony,  hair weaves, nose bleeds, gun shots, a man who’s not and a Puerto Rican Princess so removed from reality, it will take an 18 wheeler to bring her back.

Remember the slogan, “Bros before Hoes?” Well apparently our two men of fortune have lost their way. Not only have they allowed their friendship to be compromised by their “significant other”s, they have lost total respect for each other. Stevie J is about 5′ 10″ and my man Benzino comes in at an impressive 5′ 3″. Benzino is damn near giving away a foot and I can’t imagine what the arm reach disadvantage is at this point but I’m not even going there. I guess it’s safe to say that the BROMANCE is officially over. We may never know the truth, but It could be recalled that both Stevie J and Joseline attacked Benzino and his fiancee Althea following the “Hip Hop Weekly” mogul’s comments about his former best-friend using drugs. The physical altercation had security stepping in to stop the fight, and they escorted both Stevie J and Joseline out of the studio where they were filming the reunion special.

If I was a gambling man I’d bet they will be back to kicking it in the next season. Here we have two individuals hyped up and flowing of the intensity of the crowd and television ratings. I’m certain they will realize they make a hell of a lot more money as allies rather than “BROS”. So I suppose the question that takes center stage is, “Will Joseline Hernandez recover from her disaster? I’m certain when the producers of the show got together and staged the reunion, they had absolutely no idea what they were getting themselves into.  Now if you think Joseline will be kicked off the show drop me a line and tell me why.

HEADLINES

“At an Atlanta court appearance Tuesday, he was ordered held until a bail hearing Wednesday. His lawyer declined comment afterward. U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara (buh-RAH’-ruh) says Jordan, an Atlanta resident, failed to pay support for two children while earning $27,000 monthly. Prosecutors say Jordan failed to make a voluntary payment in the first nine months of 2013. At the time, he earned $193,000 on the show and another $100,000 from music royalties.” WOW!

Well, it seems Love & Hip Hop’s leading man, Stevie “J” is in trouble of the law again! Forget about the weed charge for now, Stevie “J” will have to deal with paying; get this,  $1,000,000.00 dollars in the rears in back child support. It’s hard to comment on the situation without having all of the relevant facts at hand. I live in a glass house and the last thing in the world I want to do is throw rocks. Having said that, With all of the slick talk on the reality show about making hit songs, opening up a new bar & grill, and magazine ownership, the grammy winner and song writer might want to consider paying his ex child support…I’m just saying!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plain and simple child support ain’t nothing to play with.

The news on the bricks report LOVE & HIP HOP leading man, Steven Jordan a.k.a. “STEVIE J”images (60) was  recently arrested on drug Trafficking charges. Before we condemn the brother he has to have his day in court. Chances are Stevie J was more than likely pulled over by the police and he had a private stash of weed in the glove compartment. Typically, the way a Controlled Substance is bagged up, will determine what type charge the defendant will face.

Next week Stevie J will be appearing before a judge for an arraignment and bond hearing. I don’t have to know about his case to know he will be pleading not guilty and his legal team will be organizing a bond for him to be released. One thing about this situation is it’s not part of his reality t.v.,  show and you can’t just re-shot a scene if you don’t like it, or go to a commercial break to get it together. “It’s suppose to be ART IMITATING LIFE, not the other way around.  Look I’m no saint by no stretch of anyone’s imagination, but it comes a time when we as adults have to make sound choices. Because if we don’t, there is someone out there who is dedicated to making that choice for us. Now drop a beat to this…

Drug distribution or trafficking laws penalize the selling, transportation, and illegal import of unlawful controlled substances, such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamines, and other illegal drugs. The punishment for drug trafficking can vary widely depending on several factors including the type and amount of drugs involved, the type of drugs, geographic area of distribution, and whether children were targeted. Sentences for drug distribution and trafficking can generally range from 3-5 years to life in prison.

images (61)Drug trafficking/distribution is a felony, and is a more serious crime than drug possession. If you are found in possession of drugs, you could be charged with trafficking if police believe you intend to sell them. If you are found with a large amount of drugs or cash at the time of your arrest, it is likely you will be facing drug distribution charges.

Drug distribution or trafficking also applies to the illegal distribution of prescription drugs, such as pain killers or sleeping pills. The illegal distribution of prescription drugs often involves hydrocodone products and pharmaceutical opiates.

Drug Trafficking & Controlled Substances

When a state or federal government classifies a substance as “controlled,” it generally means that the use and distribution of the substance is governed by law. Controlled substances are often classified at different levels or “schedules” under federal and state statutes. For instance, marijuana is listed as a “Schedule I controlled substance,” cocaine is listed under Schedule II, anabolic steroids under Schedule III, under the federal Controlled Substances Act.

Federal, State Drug Trafficking Charges

Both federal and state laws come into play on drug trafficking cases. There is a multitude of federal drug laws on the books, plus each state also has its own set of drug laws. Many state laws are modeled after the federal laws and provide minimum sentencing standards for offenders. Lawmakers generally pass these laws to deter the major drug cartels, but more often it is the lower level dealers that get prosecuted. Indeed, the controversy around drug trafficking laws is that a petty drug dealer can often face a longer sentence than violent criminals.

Well, the jury has returned with a verdict on the streets. So is  Mendeecees Harris cooperating with the Government’s Drug Enforcement Agency?. Apparently, Mendeecees and his brother Tyrus are cooperating to get a lesser sentence. Based on the latest reports by people of interest, there have been a lot of arrest made of peoples close to Mendeecees and his co-dee’s. Even the White guy who was facilitating cars for their criminal enterprise has been popped. So if you were doing business with Mendeecees, expect to receive a knock on the door by the poe-poe real soon.

Two-Faces

Rappers Juelz Santana and Teeyon, “Vado” Winfree are on the government’s hit list as a direct result of Mendeecees and Tyrus dropping a dime to reduce their sentence. I won’t be making any plans for Rhode Island any time soon.

The street have spoken but the jury is still out in the penitentiary, where snitch allegation are taken very serious. In order for a person to be considered a snitch, someone has to produce paperwork to support those claims. What that means is that they would need to show documentation from the court detailing the extent of their assistance.  Convicts handle snitches in their own way.  Here at Street Justice we report the news as it develops but we keep it one hundred, so until I can get some paperwork to support the snitch allegations, I will have to wait before going on the record as saying that Mendeecees is cooperating…  For the sake of the code, we will keep it real.
